Apple Pay™

How to Set up Apple Pay

  1. Add a credit, debit, or prepaid card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other compatible device. You will need a compatible device with the latest version of iOS or iPadOSwatchOS, or macOS. Click here for instructions on how to add a card to your specific device.
  2. If you already have a BankGloucester MasterCard® on file with iTunes®, you have the option to use it as your default account for Apple Pay. You can do this by entering the security code on the back of your debit card.
  3. To add a new debit card to Apple Pay, use your device’s camera to enter your debit card information. Apple Pay will perform a simple validation with BankGloucesterbefore the debit card is ready to use.

Google Pay™

How to Set Up Google Pay

  1. In the Google Pay app on your device, touch the + sign to add a credit or debit card to pay with your device.
  2. Position your card in the camera frame to automatically enter your card information. Enter the security code found on your BankGloucester MasterCard® and provide additional information as required.
  3. Accept the terms of service and set your screen lock. (Activating Device Administrator is part of the Google Pay setup process.)
  4. As a security measure, you will receive a “verification required” message when adding your card to Samsung Pay and need to call us at 978-283-8200 to verify. Once verified, an on-screen message will appear stating that the card is ready for use. This verification is part of our multi-layered approach to security in payments.
  5. If you’ve already added other cards to Google Pay, set your BankGloucesterMasterCard® as your default. You can do this in Google Settings or by clicking your BankGloucester MasterCard® within the Google Pay app.

Funds Transfer

Easily move your money between your BankGloucester accounts and accounts at other financial institutions

Funds Transfer is a safe, secure and convenient way to transfer funds between your BankGloucester accounts and accounts you hold at other financial institutions. You may schedule money transfers at any time of day or night, even when the bank is closed!

Can I transfer money internationally?

No, this service is only available for domestic transfers.

Can I use this service to transfer money between BankGloucester accounts?

No, This service is for transferring funds from a BankGloucester account to a checking or savings account in a different financial institution. 

Can I set up regularly recurring Funds Transfers?


Can I set up a Funds Transfer now to be executed at a future date?

Yes, you may schedule a Transfer Funds to up to a year in advance. 

Can I transfer funds to my external loan accounts?

No, currently you cannot add external loan accounts to this service and therefore you cannot transfer funds to these accounts. 

Can I cancel a Funds Transfer request?

Yes, but only for a limited time. Once a transfer request has been transmitted to ACH, you cannot cancel the transfer. The time frame to cancel a transfer may vary according the type of transfer. Further information can be found inside Funds Transfer in online banking.

How will I know when a transfer is complete?

The Activity page provides an up-to-date report on your Funds Transfer request over the past 180 days. Each transfer request is displayed along with the date and status of the transfer. 

How much will the Funds Transfer Service cost?

To learn more about the charges applicable to the Funds Transfer service go to the Funds Transfer screen and select the “From” and “To” accounts as well as the delivery speed. Next to the delivery speed click on the information icon to see what fees, if any, are applicable.
