Jeannette Steele Esposito’s Acrylic Paintings On View Through May 29

Ipswich based artist Jeannette Steele Esposito is best known for her abstract landscapes. She draws her inspiration from the natural beauty of the North Shore as well as the mid coast of Maine where her family has spent summers for many years.

She enjoys starting a painting plein air, then finishing it in the studio where she combines her observations of the landscape with her love of abstraction. She works mainly in acrylics as well as oil and cold wax and collage elements.

Jeannette is an artist member of the North Shore Art association, Rockport Art Association, Concord Arts, NAWA and the N.E. Experimental artists group. She is a Master Artist at Newburyport Arts and enjoys painting with The Confetti Girls, and she does “whatever it takes to get the feeling across” in her work.

You can view Jeannette’s work on Instagram at paintingsbyjse, or reach out to her directly by email at byjese@gmail.com.

In partnership with the North Shore Arts Association—an institution celebrating over 100 years of artistic excellence—we proudly showcase works by their member artists in our Gloucester branch library. This rotating exhibit brings the vibrant legacy of Cape Ann’s art community directly into our space, enriching the experience for visitors and patrons alike.

Where You Put Your Money Matters
