Head Teller/ Assistant Head Teller

Teller operations are supervised by the Head Teller and Assistant Head Teller(s). As supervisors, they are required to set a “professional tone” for the area, as well as enforce the proper implementation of all bank policies and procedures. Among the most visible representatives of the bank, the impression they make with our customers is an important quality for developing and maintaining our account relationships. Training subordinates, professional handling of customers and the ability to prioritize and problem solve are vital to this position and to the success of the bank.

Summary: Responsible for the daily activities of the teller staff, maintains records of vault and teller station cashes, provides training to new employees, develops daily schedules for appropriate coverage, and performs teller duties on a daily basis.

Branch Manager

Under General Supervision of the Vice President- Operations, administer all daily operations of the assigned branch office, which includes supervising, scheduling, coaching and administering performance evaluations for branch staff.

Department: Retail
Branch Manager reports to: VP Operations Assistant Head Teller reports to: Head Teller
Supervises: All Branch Staff
Summary: Responsible for administering all daily operations of the branch office, including supervising, scheduling, coaching and performance evaluations.

Job Requirements:
  • College Degree preferred
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Experience at a financial institution preferred.
  • At a minimum, works one night per week and every other Saturday
  • The successful completion of a 90 day probationary period
  • Good interpersonal, problem solving, and supervisory skills.
  • Computer skills, and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
Specific Job Functions:
  • Develops schedules for all areas of the branch and assign coverage as needed.
  • Assigns daily tasks.
  • Resolves complex internal and external issues in a timely manner.
  • Clearly communicates productivity and performance standards to all branch personnel.
  • Ensures effective communication to staff and implementation of all policies and procedures.
  • Plays a positive role in the development and growth of staff.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.
  • Adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Ensures that the bank policies and procedures are followed and that branch personnel are aware of proper operating procedures.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to review problems, policies, procedures and updates of all activities within the bank.
  • Ensures that the physical control and daily accounting of cash, checks, and other items of value is properly administered.
  • Ensures satisfactory audit results through compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identifies areas for improved workflow efficiencies.
  • Maintains proper Branch security.
  • Responsible for the day to day appearance and maintenance of the Branch.
  • Responsible for managing employee performance including ongoing performance feedback and preparation of appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for the approval of time cards, probationary completion reviews, and annual performance reviews.
  • Recommends hiring, discipline, promotion, transfers and termination of branch staff as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and secure area, always aware of employee safety, and customer privacy.
  • Reports any unusual or suspicious activity by employees or customers to VP Operations Officer.
  • Performs Customer Service duties as necessary.
  • Regularly attends organizations’ meetings and develops/builds a referral and potential customer network.
  • Participates in civic and community organizations that benefit the local communities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Full Time Customer Service Representatives

Must have excellent customer service skills and work well in a team environment. responsibilities include: customer services, opening new accounts, establishing direct deposit accounts, opening retirement accounts as well as assist customers with questions concerning the products and services offered by the Bank and problem solving customer questions. Must have a minimum of six months in a service related area. Position requires attention to detail, computer literacy along with good oral/written communication skills.

Must have excellent people skills, work well in a team environment and be available for flexible scheduling, including Saturdays and some early evenings. Teller/cash handling experience preferred. Previous customer service/sales/banking experience a plus.
