BankGloucester Awards $30K to Local Organizations in 15th Annual
‘Banking for the Community’ Program

GLOUCESTER, MA, October 14, 2022 – The results are in for BankGloucester’s 15th annual Banking for the Community program. A special thanks to the public for their participation and voting, making this year’s program one of the most successful yet, with close to 7,000 votes cast. A total of 29 local organizations received votes this year, and the top 19 were awarded a total of $30,000!

Every September we hold our Banking for the Community event to show our appreciation for and to give back to the communities we serve. Votes are cast by members of the community throughout the month, and awards are distributed based on popular vote at a reception in October.

“BankGloucester is fortunate to be part of a such an amazing community, and we feel it’s important to be active and involved within it. Our Banking for the Community program is one of the many ways we do this, and we are excited to be celebrating the 15th year of this event.”

Patrick Thorpe, President & CEO, BankGloucester
