Gloucester, MA – June 10, 2022 – BankGloucester is volunteering twice a month at The Open Door, a local food pantry building food security, to help sort food donations. The Open Door serves the community by providing groceries, meals, and nutrition programs to alleviate hunger and change lives.

BankGloucester‘s philosophy: Start Here Get There, aims to empower employees to assist the community. BankGloucester shares the responsibility of improving the community they serve, and starts everyday with the mission of “getting there” in mind, and helping out at The Open Door makes that mission possible.

When asked why they chose to get involved, BankGloucester employees were happy to share their reasons. “It’s a really worthy cause to help feed the hungry,” said Patricia Natti, Vice President, Information Technology & Information Security Officer at BankGloucester. Derek Clements, Marketing Manager at BankGloucester, shared “We love getting out into the community to demonstrate our support.”
